Homestead Karting – Tony Kart

So lately I’ve been training much more often both on and off track. I feel that when I really put my mind to the training regimen I see the best results every single time. My first few times in a kart were definitely a learning experience but hey that’s what it’s all about right?

Huge thanks to the team out at Homestead Karting, they really made my first time in a shifter kart a day to remember. With just a tease of the race life on that day, I was immediately hooked. After some research and a few phone calls, I find out about the Florida Winter Tour series in, of course, Florida. Curiosity got the best of me, and although I knew that I was a rookie, I took to my very first Official Test with NRM Motorsports, coached by Rafa Matos.

When I finally got the full treatment, some of the best coaches and mechanics in the state, state of the art telemetry with track-side assistance, I truly felt I belonged in that very moment. The progress that I saw across the 3-day event was incredible and I have never been hungrier for more.
